Our wool blankets are crafted by a family of skilled artisans who have honed their craft through generations. Their expertise and dedication are reflected in every piece they create. Husband and wife team Luis and Telma are involved in every single step of the process: shearing the sheep, hand-washing the wool, creating natural dyes to colour the yarn, spinning the wool onto cones, weaving the wool on a traditional wooden pedal loom, then washing and brushing by hand.
Every purchase supports these artisans and preserves their traditional methods.
Our wool blankets are carefully handwoven on pedal looms, then hand brushed for a time-worn, super soft feel. Responsibly made in a fair trade environment by our artisan partners in Guatemala - a small family team of talented artisans and entrepreneurs. This is truly a forever blanket.
